FA Cup

The English FA Cup is the most famous domestic cup competition in the world of football.

Held annually at the end of each league season, the FA Cup was first held back in the 1871-72 season, when the Wanderers lifted the trophy after defeating the Royal Engineers by one goal to nil.

Arsenal are the most successful club throughout the FA Cup's history with 12 wins, and 19 appearances in the final, closely followed by Manchester Utd, who've won it 11 times and been in the final 18 times.
