England - Players Player of the Year Award

Commonly referred to as the Players' Player of the Year award, its full title is The Professional Footballers' Association Players' Player of the Year award (or PFA Players' Player of the Year, for short!).

As the title implies, it's voted for by the members of the English PFA, i.e. the players themselves in the English professional leagues, and t's held towards the end of each English football season, usually around the end of April.

Many footballers regard the Players' Player of the Year as the most prestigious annual award in English football, as it shows how highly they're rated by their peers.
